This group of low
voltage insulators may be divided into three categories:
- Pin type insulators
- Strain type insulators
- Fuse insulators
Insulators are made
of special porcelain mass C120 according to IEC-672-3 (JUS N.A8.302)
|
 |
Production program
of this type of insulators includes:
- Pin type lines
insulators, type "D"
- Pin type insulators
with solid core
- String insulator
units made of porcelain and glass
- Long-rod string
units made of porcelain
Insulators are made
of special porcelain mass C120 according to IEC-672-3 (JUS N.A8.302) ;
glass insulators are made according to IEC-672-3 (JUS N.A8.302) Grupa

Insulators of this
group include:
- Support insulators
for indoor use with working voltage up to 38 kV
- Support insulators
for outdoor use with working voltage up to 550 kV
- Hollow insulators
- Rotating insulators
- Wall bushings for
indoor use and outdoor/indoor use with working voltage up to 38 kV
- Transformer bushings
with working voltage up to 38 kV

Insulators of this
group include insulators for overhead traction lines, and are divided
into two groups:
- Long-rod insulators
with solid core
- Pin type insulators
Long-rod insulators
with solid core are usually used for 25 kV 50 Hz alternating voltage trolley
lines.
These insulators are
manufactured with increased leakage distance.
Pin type insulators
are designed with DELTA shape for use in direct current overhead traction
lines.

Rapid development
of electrotechnical industry resulted in use of new insulating material,
with excellent dielectric and mechanical characteristics.
One of the leading
insulating material is known under trade name STEATITE.
Other special ceramic
material is CORDIERITE.
These products are
made of materials from C-220; C-510 and C-511, according to IEC-672-3
(JUS N.A8.302)

Technical porcelain
stands for the products that are used in different industrial fields.
They are all made of hard porcelain which is, in addition to its mechanical
and dielectric characteristics, also chemically inert to all acids, except
hydrofluoric acid, and is highly resistant to wearing out.
All of these products
are made of materials from C-110; C-111; C-120 and C-610, according to
IEC-672-3 (JUS N.A8.302)
|
 |
All products of this
group are made of hard porcelain C-110, according to IEC-672-3 (JUS N.A8.302)
Laboratory ware is
suitable for working temperature up to 1100 C if it is glazed, and up
to 1300 C if unglazed.
Laboratory ware is
resistant to all the acids except hydrofluoric acid. It is well resistant
at sudden temperature changes and therefore is widely used in chemical
industry.
